Review Amazonian Master

Okay, so I just finished "Amazonian Master: An Isekai Survival Fantasy" by Stoham Baginbott and Josh Kendig, and honestly? I'm pleasantly surprised! I hadn't heard of these authors before, which makes this discovery even more exciting. The premise – ex-Secret Service agent Troy Thunder stranded on a mysterious island populated by a tribe of attractive monster girls – immediately grabbed my attention, and it delivered on that initial promise. The whole "survival on a strange island" aspect is a well-trodden path in fantasy, but the authors managed to make it feel fresh and engaging. Troy’s resourcefulness and the unique challenges he faces kept me hooked.

The women in the story were fantastically written; each had a distinct personality, going beyond simply being eye candy. They felt real, with their own strengths, weaknesses, and motivations, making their interactions with Troy believable and compelling. The relationships developed throughout the book felt organic and earned, not rushed or forced, which is a huge plus. The romantic elements were handled tastefully, with a good balance between action and intimacy – nothing felt gratuitous.

The plot itself was a satisfying blend of action, mystery, and character development. There's plenty of exciting moments – tense survival situations, intriguing world-building, and glimpses of the larger, potentially dangerous world beyond the island. The ending, with its cliffhanger, left me wanting more immediately! I’m already eagerly anticipating the next installment to see how Troy and his newfound companions will tackle the mysteries that have been set up.

Now, I do have a tiny nitpick. There seemed to be a rather unusual, consistent capitalization issue in the text. The word "continuing," specifically, was almost always rendered with a random capital "I" in the middle ("contInuing"). This happened sporadically with other words as well. It’s a minor point, honestly, and it didn't detract significantly from my enjoyment of the book; it just stood out as a curious editing quirk. It almost felt like a stylistic choice initially, but with enough instances, you start to wonder what happened.

Overall, "Amazonian Master" is a great read, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who enjoys isekai, survival, or fantasy stories with a healthy dose of romance. It’s a fun, exciting, and well-written adventure with likeable characters and a captivating setting. Stoham and Josh, keep up the fantastic work! I'm definitely going to be keeping an eye out for your future projects.
